A 41-year-old woman presented with one month history of numbness and tingling in her right hand and first three fingers tips. She had a history of type-2 diabetes mellitus. A detailed medical history informed that a previous treatment with corticosteroid injection had resulted into an episode of uncontrolled blood-glucose level.

The patient was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome.
